It is the site of a large hydroelectric power station, on the Ebro river. The whole area is mountainous. == Fishing == Once a year there was a major international fishing championship at Riba-roja however the area was overfished and this no longer happens. Fishing is still practised both in the reservoir and down the river. The river mouths of the Cinca, Segre and Matarraña rivers are surrounded by a forest and beautiful scenery. In the middle of the reservoir is the bell tower of the town of Fayón, which became submerged with the damming of the river.
